Red magazine and Red Direct are owned and published by Hearst Magazines UK. Hearst Magazines UK are one of the UK's largest and fastest growing publishers, with 26 magazines and 22 digital assets. We reach more than 16 million adults in the UK (a third of the adult population) through our printed magazines, and more than 20 million monthly unique users through our digital and other branded properties.

Promotions and Discounts
If you have been sent a complimentary discount to use against your Red Direct order, simply key in the quote code at the checkout and the discount will be applied to your order. The following terms and conditions are applicable. Please read them carefully.
Offer valid only for the duration quoted. Discount excludes post and packaging costs unless otherwise stated. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion and is not transferable. Returned items will be refunded at the discounted price paid. Statutory rights are not affected. Not exchangeable for cash.
Please quote the offer code when ordering online to qualify for the offer. Orders must placed during offer period to qualify for discount.

Returns Policy
If you are not happy with your Red Direct items please return them to us within 28 days. We will be happy to make an exchange or a refund providing the items are returned complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

Making Returns

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.

If there is a problem with any items you have ordered, please follow the instructions below so that we can put things right as quickly as possible:

Please call 0870 600 6020 or email customer.services@reddirect.co.uk to obtain a Returns Authorisation number.

Enter this number on the returns form (which is included with your order). Complete the rest of the form with details of the item/s you are returning and the reasons why. Please return this form together with the returned item/s.

All goods should be returned in their original packaging as we cannot offer a refund or exchange on worn or damaged goods. Please note that for hygiene reasons we cannot offer an exchange/refund on pierced items of jewellery.

We recommend that you use a signature service when returning items (i.e. signature post) as we cannot be held responsible for any items that do not reach us. Please ask at the Post Office for proof of purchase. We can send a courier to collect the items, but there will be a standard collection charge.

Payment and Taxes
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Maestro. For further details please refer to Methods of Payment.
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of press and are quoted in pounds sterling and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Community (EC) then your sales tax will be zero. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 15 per cent. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict these charges.

Is My Credit Card Information Secure?
All Red Direct online purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest security technology to protect our customers.
Red Direct use Thawte, SSL Web Server Certificates to offer secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. Thawte has checked and verified Red's registration documents and the Red Direct's registered domain name. This information is included in the SSL certificate that we issue. This enables you to check the site's validity yourself. Always check a site's certificate before entering any sensitive information.
You can view the site's digital certificate directly: click on the gold padlock on the bottom right of the screen to bring up details of the SSL certificate.

Credit Card Security
Credit card information entered on our site will not be accessed by any unauthorised person or company. Our site certificate is authenticated by Thawte and uses secure sockets layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption. Any information that is passed to our fulfilment provider is transferred using SSL 128-bit encryption. Once your order has been transferred to our fulfilment provider's system all credit card details are removed from the website.
This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.

Conformity Of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

To the fullest extent permitted by the law and except in respect of death or personal injury caused by negligence on the part of Hearst Magazines UK, its directors, employees or agents, Hearst Magazines UK shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by negligence on the part of Hearst Magazines UK, its directors, employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website. The supply of the products or their use or resale by you, and the entire liability of Hearst Magazines UK under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the price of the products, except as expressly provided in these conditions.
